Transdev Training Manager in Denver, Colorado

Overview:

The Training Manager is responsible for administering all training programs in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

This is a paratransit operation with 82 dedicated vehciles serving the Denver Metro area. This is for proposed business. All offers are contingent upon Transdev's award of the contract

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to assess training needs, develop and/or identify course content and materials.

  • Research and coordinate outside vendor training programs as needed.

  • Schedule all training of current and future employees.

  • Review design of training curriculum and recommend methods to improve effectiveness.

  • Perform administrative duties associated with employee training.

  • Produce reports and document all training

  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 3+ years of recent and relevant experience in a Public Transportation environment of similar size and scope.

  • Previous adult training experience a definite plus.

Skills and Knowledge required:

  • Must be able to demonstrate poise, tact, diplomacy, and possesses good judgment and discretion.

  • Superior communication and presentation skills.

  • Must be able to pass third party tester certification within ninety (90) days of employment, if necessary.

  • Must be familiar with Smith System defensive driving program.

  • Must able to assist in the creation and maintenance of various reports.

  • Detail oriented, well organized, and possess effective time management skills.

  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills a must.

  • General knowledge of Windows-based computer operating system and Microsoft office package.
