The Administrative Services Manager of is responsible for the leadership of administrative support staff and procedures. In partnership with the General Manager, the Administrative Services Manager will be responsible for a variety of business administrative functions and support the General Manager and his/her management team.
The Administrative Manager will oversee functions related to: Human Resources, Accounting/Payroll, and office management activities. In addition, this position will work with the General Manager and his/her staff in various duties and projects related business operations and safety at the property site
This location will have 72 vehicles and 90 operators.
This is proposed business, all offers are contingent upon Transdev being awarded the contract.
Preparation of reports and invoices as required under this proposal
NTD-related Surveys and Reports
Administration of operating records and reports
Coordination with DDOT on Customer satisfaction
Addressing passenger complaints and reporting such matters to DDOT
Coordination with ITS services
Ensure recruitment, selection, and orientation of all new employees follows employment law and contractual policies and procedures
Manage employee relations, payroll, and benefits; and,
Coordinate with the Safety and Training Manager to ensure all new hires are trained correctly
Education, Licensing, and Certifications Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred, but may be substituted with 5 years of fixed route transportation experience.
- 3 years of experience in the administration phases of a transit organization.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Knowledge of all office equipment
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, manage time, and work without constant supervision
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to maintain a flexible attitude and approach to assignments
Ability to work well with labor
Travel requirement (as a percent): <5% for occasional meetings
Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well ventilated facilities
Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
