Transdev Network Coordinator in Omaha, Nebraska

In this role, you will report to the Customer Service Manager or his/her successor. This position is responsible for ensuring the availability, quality, and compliance of NET providers.

Responsibilities

  • Working on location Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM

  • Being available by email and phone to NET Providers during normal business hours

  • Being available on call during all off hours for urgent needs affecting immediate service delivery

  • Receive, document, and investigate reports of accidents and road calls

  • Complete enrollment/reenrollment for NET Providers every 5 years

  • Provider Enrollment documents must be processed and submitted within 10 business days of receipt from the NET provider

  • Ensure common carriers are in good standing with current PSC authority for rates, operating area, and special DHHS designation and all vehicles are maintained accordingly

  • Ensure all vehicle regulated by NDoR comply with all regulatory requirements for vehicle safety and maintenance

  • Maintain legible copies of current driver’s license and vehicle registration for Individual Providers

  • Ensure all commercial and public providers have documented initial-hire and random drug and alcohol testing of drivers

  • Ensure 49 Code of Federal Regulations Part 38 for vehicle requirements when transporting a client remaining in a wheelchair during transport is followed

  • Complete Annual credentialing for NET Providers every year

  • Maintain legible copies of current driver’s license and vehicle registration for Individual Providers

  • Ensure common carriers are in good standing with current PSC authority for rates, operating area, and special DHHS designation and all vehicles are maintained accordingly

  • Ensure all vehicle regulated by NDoR comply with all regulatory requirements for vehicle safety and maintenance

  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, and Certifications :

  • This position requires HS diploma or GED

Experience Preferred:

  • 1-3 years in network coordination or dispatch experience

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Must have basic computer skills, must have knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel. Typing skills of at least 35 wpm

Skills and Knowledge Preferred:

  • Previous management experience, leadership experience, knowledge of or experience with Ecolane and other transportation software is a plus.

  • Vehicle inspection knowledge or experience.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Drug testing and background check

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time during work day, doing majority of work using a computer and viewing computer monitor

  • Occasionally required to work in outdoor settings for vehicle inspections and site visits/field work
