Transdev Human Resources & Finance Assistant in Phoenix, Arizona

Overview of Position:

Provides clerical support to the Human Resources and Finance Staff.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and audits personnel files

  • Assistswith the procssing of invoices

  • Assists with all aspects of hiring

  • Compiles human resource data as needed

  • Ensures complete and accurate employee information

  • Respond to employee walk-in inquiries

  • Maintains confidentiality of all information

  • Assists client with special projects

Other duties as required.


Education, Licensing, and Certifications :

Education: High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required.

Experience :

Field and years of experience required: One year of relevant office experience required.

Experience preferred: 2 to 3 years of experience in human resources preferred

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Knowledge of basic human resource practices, including human resource compliance and regulatory environment

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Good written and oral communication skills

Skills and Knowledge Preferred:

Travel requirement outside of immediate area (as a percent) <10%

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Testing related to job requirements

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

  • 100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well ventilated facilities

  • Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.

  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
