The Project and Performance Improvement Specialist will be responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing, and documenting transformations and performance improvement initiatives as delegated by the General Manager. The Project and Performance Improvement Specialist will report directly to the General Manager, and will be required to work collaboratively with TRAC management as well as the RIDE staff and service providers.
This is a call center operation for The Ride Access Center(TRAC).
Owning all planning and project setup processes, including project scope definition, stakeholder engagement and buy-in, project tooling and template support (including detailed project plan), team assembly, reporting cadence, meeting ownership and setup, and other key project initiation steps
Managing each project according to a comprehensive project plan (including KPIs, SLAs, key milestones and deliverables), reporting & communication plan, resource plan, budget plan, and other items
Independently driving projects to completion, with stage gate sign-offs, deliverable approvals, quality assurance, consistent status reporting, risk identification and proactive mitigation recommendations
Closing each project, including any contracting or procurement-related steps, off-boarding resources, completing project sign-offs, stakeholder close-outs, and other items
Driving each project to completion, meeting the quality, timeline, and other specifications set out by TRAC, RIDE staff, and / or service providers
Responsible for knowledge management, performance analysis and post analysis of each project completed (including tracking to budget, timelines, scope, quality, and other commitments defined at the outset of each project)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Project Management role at a medium or large-sized organization, with increasing tenure and responsibility managing and completing complex transformations.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Excellent written communication, organization, and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Demonstrated ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint in particular) required, and experience using project management software such as Microsoft Project is a plus.
