Transdev Recruiter (Talent Acquisition) - Automated Vehicle in Chandler, Arizona

Overview

You will ensure that staffing levels and needs are maintained for the automated vehicle division. You will assist managersto fill existing and future job openings through sourcing efforts, community networking, competitive talent shopping, referral networks, career fair participation, consultation with personnel agencies and contracts within the larger community. You will partner with local management to understand requirements and deliver qualified and diverse candidates.Travel will be required on an as-needed basis to serve the needs of the locations. You will report the Director of Human Resources, Automated Vehicle Division, and you will be remotely on the west coast. You will be required to travel to multiple facilities up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Improves the recruiting process with innovative solutions

  • Develops strategies for recruitment of non-exempt and exempt positions

  • Establishes a pipeline for future demands

  • Establishes an effective and efficient working relationship with location managementto understand business objectives and candidate requirements

  • Plays a critical role in maintaining an exceptional candidate experience during the entire recruitment process

  • Ensures accurate and timely tracking of applicants within our Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS), and maintains orderly and accurate records throughout the recruitment process

  • Sources active candidates through networking, cold calling, and internet research

  • Conducts community outreach through job fairs and other organizational presence

  • Achieves measurable results that demonstrate improvement in hiring ratio (applicants vs. hires)

  • Ensures all required paperwork (application, interview notes, etc.) are forwarded to the appropriate local Human Resources professional to ensure efficient onboarding process

  • If applicable, provides training and direction to local staff to ensure compliance with all laws and regulationsconcerning the hiring process

  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, and Certifications Required :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field

Experience :

  • Minimum of 3 years related experience in a staffing role within a manufacturing, transportation, or industrial environment

  • Experience with high volume recruiting

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Proven track record of innovative methods to recruit targeted groups

  • Must be able to prioritize and organize multi-location recruitment efforts

  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple demands concurrently

  • Must be a highly collaborative strong team player

  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively to diverse groups

  • Demonstrated business acumen

  • Excellent interviewing skills and strong written and oral communication skills

  • Estimated Travel requirement (as a percent): 50%-75%

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Must submit to a drug test and background check

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel

  • Most work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well ventilated facilities

  • Work is accomplished in an office environment equipped with a telephone and computer

  • The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen
