Transdev Quality Assurance Supervisor in Detroit, Michigan

Overview

Monitors and evaluates contractor service compliance, operations performance, and operations compliance.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and evaluates accuracy of daily trip manifest

  • Observes trip location checks on weekly basis

  • Assures service quality is meeting requirements and expectations.

  • Evaluates data using spreadsheets.

  • Understands and monitors compliance with operations contracts

  • Perform vehicle appearance and functional inspections

  • Completes reports and other required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

  • Provides constant feedback to the management team on all outstanding quality control issues and ensures proper follow through

  • Investigates escalated Incidents and Accidents

  • Assists with managing quarterly vehicle inspections

  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

Education, Licensing, and Certifications :

High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required. Valid state class C driver’s license required.

Education Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree

Experience :

Field and years of experience required: 3 or more years of public transit experience required

Experience preferred: 1 or more years in a quality assurance role with responsibilities for ensuring compliance to contracts, labor agreements and the law.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret transit system operating rules, regulations, policies, phases and routes

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs

  • Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers on all levels and be able to work well with diverse groups

Testing related to job requirements

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
