Heavy Equipment Technician

Responsibilities:
Perform vehicle maintenance to the Transdev standards.
Diagnose all phases of vehicle and equipment repair & select appropriate course of action for
repairs.
Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
Evaluate completed work prior to release, seeking supervisor approval where required.
Ensure safe use of power and hand-held tools.
Perform road calls and emergency services as necessary.
Move vehicles safely between job and work area.
Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors.
Actively participate in safety or educational training as required.
Continuous ASE re-certification to remain in job classification.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent; Technical training preferred.
Valid driver's license.
ASE Certifications preferred. Must obtain 1 ASEs within 6 months of employment.
Preferred experience with diagnostic computers, heavy line equipment repairs, from heavy
truck to heavy equipment.

Appropriate mechanic's tool set.
Excellent communication skills.
