Transdev Utility Lead in Greensboro, North Carolina

Overview

Responsibilities

  • Directly oversees all daily activities of the Utility Department including all Utility Workers

  • Accounts for subordinate and personnel compliance with all Transdev's safety rules, policies and procedures

  • Monitor employee's performance

  • Monitors performance of and efficiencies of the Utility Department

  • Perform Post Inspections on vehicles that have been detailed

  • Provide daily updates to Maintenance Manager

  • Administer daily reports for the Utility Department

  • Responsible for maintaining the bus wash area

  • Other duties as needed

  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays

Qualifications

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a high school diploma (or GED equivalent). Must be dependable and have reliable transportation to work.

Must be able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and communicate at all times with professionalism and courtesy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of service lane procedures, principles, practices, and techniques

  • Thorough knowledge of the organization's functions, methods of operation, staff and operational departments

  • Competency to express ideas effectively, both orally and in writing

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other managers and employees

  • Capacity to work with subordinates
