SuperShuttle is the premier shared-ride airport transportation service in the United States, providing door-to-door service for over 8 million passengers per year. Currently, SuperShuttle provides service to and from more than 40 airports and over 50 cities and has approximately 1,200 distinctive blue and yellow vans on the road.   • Supervises assigned staff to include: hiring recommendations, training; coaching; performance feedback; recommending and administering discipline

  • Coordinates with other departments to ensure daily reporting duties are completed in a timely manner.

  • Schedules employees, lunches and breaks based on volume, demand patterns and scheduled group travel arrangements

  • Explain fare and promote round trip service

  • Accept payments only while inside booth and offer receipt

  • Group customers for efficient drop off (3 stops preferred 5 max)

  • Clearly direct passengers to their departing vehicle by # or curb location

  • Follow ADA guidelines as trained and provide "transfer and pay" per company policy in the absence of a vehicle equipped to transport

  • Balance register and voucher collections at the end of each shift

  • Maintain proper radio, phone and electronic device etiquette at all times

  • Make eye contact with those exiting the airport in preparation for questions or service offering

  • Collect and tag lost and found items and ask for identification of the item prior to return

  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

  • Performs all other job related duties as assigned


Education, Licensing, and Certifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent such as GED required

Education, Licensing, and Certifications:

  • Some college coursework preferred

Experience :

  • 4 or more years of customer service experience required

  • 2 or more years of experience in a lead or supervisory level

  • 2 or more years of experience in a high volume customer service oriented environment (transportation preferred but not required)

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Working knowledge of PC software (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)

  • Must be able to communicate clearly both verbal and written including prepare and submit reports

  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company standards

  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within your department

  • Maintain a positive attitude promoting SuperShuttle and its services

  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to adjust to different situations and process changes

Travel requirement <5% of time for occasional meetings or training.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

  • Must submit to drug testing and a background check

  • Must be able to pass Airport Security Background Check to obtain Airport Badge

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

  • 100% of work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well ventilated facilities

  • Work is accomplished at a workstation or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone, headset, and computer.

  • Work environments are generally noisy and the employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
