Transdev Regional Recruiter (Remote) in Los Angeles, California


The Regional Recruiter will work remotely and ensure that staffing levels and needs are maintained for assigned locations throughout the Southwest region. You will assist managers within your assigned regionto fill existing and future job openings through sourcing efforts, community networking, competitive talent shopping, referral networks, career fair participation, consultation with personnel agencies and contacts within the larger community. You will also partner with local the HR team and hiring managers to understand requirements and deliver qualified and diverse candidates to consider.Travel will be required on an as-needed basis to serve the needs of the assigned regions. This position reports to the Director of Talent Acquisition and is based remotely in the Los Angeles or Orange County area. Requires travel to multiple facilities and Corporate office for meetings and/or Company business.


  • Improves the recruiting process with innovative solutions and develop strategies for non-exempt and exempt positions at assigned locations and establish a pipeline for future demands

  • Establishes an effective and efficient working relationship with location managementto understand business objectives and candidate requirements

  • Plays critical role in maintaining an exceptional candidate experience during the entire recruitment process

  • Accurate and timely tracking of applicants within our Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS), and maintaining orderly and accurate records throughout the recruitment process

  • Sources active candidates through networking, cold calling, and Internet research

  • Conduct community outreach through job fairs and other organizational presence

  • Achieves measurable results that demonstrate improvement in hiring ratio (applicants vs. hires)

  • Ensures all required paperwork (application, interview notes, etc.) are forwarded to the appropriate local Human Resources professional to ensure efficient on-boarding process

  • If applicable, provides training and direction to local staff to ensure compliance with all laws and regulationsconcerning the hiring process

  • Other duties as required


Education, Licensing, and Certifications Required :

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field

Experience :

  • Minimum of 3 years related experience in a staffing, recruiting, sales and or customer service role

  • Experience with high volume recruiting

  • Some agency experience preferred

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Proven track record of innovative methods to recruit targeted groups

  • Must be able to prioritize and organize multi-location recruitment efforts

  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple demands concurrently

  • Must be a strong team player

  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively to diverse groups

  • Demonstrated business acumen

  • Excellent interviewing skills and strong written and oral communication skills

Estimated Travel requirement (as a percent): 50%

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel within assigned regions

  • Most work is accomplished indoors and in air conditioned or well ventilated facilities

  • Work is accomplished in an office environment equipped with a telephone and computer

The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen
