Responsibilities

  • Assists with scheduling and monitoring random drug program and DOT physicals.

  • Conducts interviews, scheduling interviews and follow up with new candidates.

  • Assist applicants to apply, keep applicant status updated through hiring process.

  • Assists with scheduling training for new hires.

  • Answers phone and directs calls for the department or location.

  • Enters all accidents/incidents into trackers.

  • Monitors and manages certification tracker. Maintains employees’ credentials including and not limited to operator’s driver’s license, DOT physicals & drug tests.

  • Assist with creating and maintain personnel’s safety and training folders.

  • Maintains safety meeting trackers.

  • Assist with preparing new personnel packages to send to the client. Updating the client with all updated credentials of new and current employees.

  • Creates employee safety files, scans documents for electronic storage, and files hard copy documents.

  • Assist Safety Manager with any other duties as assigned.

Education, Licensing, and Certifications Required:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience Required:

Two (2) years of clerical work in an office setting.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Accurate data entry keystrokes with adequate speed.

  • Ability to pay close attention to details, and present good planning, organization, and time management skills.

  • Computer skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Ability to utilize other departmental and Company software programs.

  • Must be able to multi-task, work effectively with interruptions, and meet or exceed production and quality goals.

  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information or issues.

  • Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.

  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
