Transdev Product Manager in Pasadena, California

Transdev is a global transportation service provider with operations in public transit, private transit, and new transportation services like autonomous vehicles. Our DNA is about connecting people to help them get to work, see loved ones, and help them get around their communities. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and passionate Product Manager to innovate and execute quickly (but smartly) from our Los Angeles office.

As a Product Manager on Safety and Trust, you will ship products that keep Transdev as the safest transportation service provider on Earth. You will work with claims and fraud analysts to identify key areas of improvement with our operations, then rally a team of engineers, data scientists, and 3 rd party technologists as your partners in crime to provide product driven solutions.

Product Development

  • Obsess over metrics, risk monitoring, and benchmarking our performance

  • Manage the pipeline for both consumer facing and non-consumer facing internal systems, including those built from the ground up by Transdev engineers, existing 3 rd party legacy systems, and new 3 rd party systems

  • Manage backlogs and prioritize work for the engineers.

  • Successfully partner with engineers to quickly and efficiently release products

  • Manage multiple projects with shifting and competing priorities

  • Work with scrum-master to run sprint planning meetings

  • Investigator instinct, sifting through symptoms to find the root cause

  • Ability to explain complex messages in easily understandable language

  • Quick and scrappy learner who adapts well to a fast-moving environment and gets things done

  • Combines creativity, problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude to overcome any obstacle
