Transdev Product Manager in Phoenix, Arizona

Overview

The Product Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining competitive product pricing strategies for Transdev’s Business to Consumer (B2C) Division. The main objective will be to achieve passenger growth and margin optimization for two of Transdev’s brands: Supershuttle and Execucar.

The position will report to the VP of Marketing & Sales and collaborate with operations, marketing, finance, IT and work very closely with the data science team. The position will encompass a wide range of responsibilities and have a critical impact in this $250m/year division of Transdev North America, the largest private sector provider of multiple modes of transportation in North America (B2G, B2B, B2C). The Product Manager (Pricing) is responsible for critical pricing initiatives for our on demand transportation division.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage the product roadmap for a set of critical pricing& conversion improvementinitiatives - define product vision and strategies supported by internal and external analysis.

  • Actively build relationships with business and product stakeholders, including marketing & technology organizations

  • Build and execute pricing framework forour on demand transportation business models

  • Build proper auditing and error detection mechanisms to reduce the likelihood of pricing errors

  • Understand inputs into competitor pricing, incorporating into our strategy when appropriate.

  • Manage pricing structure, strategy, and implementation for all markets in which we have operations

Qualifications

Education, Certifications, Licensing:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience

  • 5 or more years of experience in a product management role

  • MBA preferred

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Project management skills of breaking down tasks, simplifying product road-maps, establishing owners and time-lines, and status reporting

  • Ability to work across multiple teams to create scalable solutions to monitor business performance and interpret key performance metrics into actionable recommendations

  • Good written and verbal communication skills are a requirement.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.

  • Mastery of data analysis tools

  • Excels at delivering results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

  • Bias for action; able to manage multiple projects and priorities.

  • Innovative; loves to challenge status quo and reinvent on behalf of our customers
