Transdev Senior Operations Supervisor in Phoenix, Arizona

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Senior Operations Supervisor provides overall supervision to operations administration, customer service, dispatch and field staff while ensuring compliance of the instituted labor contract and executing HR responsibilities. This position works with the client on various aspects of customer service and contractual terms. The Supervisor maintains system performance and assists with system planning. Identifies potential issues by way of analyzing various reports, trends and through field observance. Responds to customer inputs and administers counseling, coaching and discipline with employees.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • College degree preferred; minimum high school dipoloma or GED equivalent required.

  • Three (3) years of progressive supervisory experience,

  • Possess strong computer literacy abilities.

  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, prioritize, organize, recall details, troubleshoot, and resolve issues while remaining in compliance with Federal, State, and local laws, and company policies.

  • Monitors employee performance along with issuing disciplinary notices and processing basic payroll related functions.

  • Previously worked in an organized labor environment and recognize the multiple facets of its infrastructure, preferred.

  • Must have knowledge of local vicinity; the ability to learn to operate a two-way radio.

  • Must be able to accurately perform both Dispatch and Road Supervior duties.

  • You must be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check.

Pre-Employment Physical

  • Must undergo a pre-employment drug test and physical by a company appointed physician/facility and receive clearance.
