Job Summary:

We are hiring for our front-line support team to ensure our customers receive great service. We are looking for a committed, compassionate person to help connect people to life. Our front-line support team interacts over the phone, in person, or by email. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for providing great customer service by responding to requests and providing information. We are a hub for specialized transportation and information in Allegheny County.

Skills/Requirements

• High School Diploma

• At least one-year experience in a customer service call center or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of Allegheny County geography, major road networks and travel times

• Basic Computer skills with the ability to learn a new program

• Desire to help and support people

• Critical thinking/problem solving

• High level of motivation with the ability to operate under minimal supervision

• Detail oriented with ability to maintain a variety of complex records and to prepare reports.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

• Demonstrated ability to identify and understand problems and to determine the appropriate measures to solve problems.

• Ability to deal patiently and friendly with external customer problems and complaints and remain courteous when faced with a difficult or angry customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant procedures

• Document information accurately

• Complete all tasks before or on the due date

• Communicate verbally and in writing with attention to details

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer

• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds at times

Job Type:Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Shift: 8-hour shift – 8:30 – 4:30

Weekly day range: Monday to Friday
