Under the general supervision of the Property and Facilities Manager, the Janitorial Worker has responsibility for cleaning all GoRaleigh Facilities, including GoRaleigh Station, Poole Road Operations Facility and Bus Shelters. Janitorial Worker will also be responsible for bus shelter and bench repairs, including glass replacement.
Maintain cleanliness of exterior area of GoRaleigh Station & Bus Shelters
Report any damages and acts of vandalism to management
Responsible for interior and exterior in maintenance including janitorial services, paiting, bus shelter repairs, and snow removal
Responsible for preparing for severe weather conditions
Responsbile for maintaining storage areas & cleaning equipment in a safe and orderly manner in order to ensure safety of staff and public
Education, Licensing, and Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience & Skills Required :
Must have a North Carolina Drivers License
Ability to read and follow complex directions
Ability to work minimal supervision
Must maintain confidentiality when necessary
Ability to be detail orientated
Must be able to write & record a variety of data corresponding to position (fuel usage, fluid usage, mileage)
Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather and environment conditions
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
Must be able to stand, bend, lift, stretch, climb, balance kneel, crouch & crawl
