Transdev Marketing Automation Manager in Scottsdale, Arizona

Overview

The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for implementing, managing, and refining automated digital marketing campaigns for SuperShuttle and ExecuCar. This hands-on role runs automated digital campaigns end-to-end, managing the customer opt-in database, establishing trigger-based campaigns and introducing new performance-based strategies to engage customers, drive retention, and generate revenue. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of event and personalization triggers to launch communication mechanisms.

This is a highly collaborative role that will work closely with the marketing team, technology group, and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Establish automated marketing campaigns based on customer lifecycle and event triggers to optimize revenue generation and capture demand to drive passenger growth

  • Analyze existing cross-channel campaigns and implement strategic automation programs

  • Deep dive into email marketing strategy, identifying opportunities for growth and optimizing channel for improved outcomes

  • Build and refine audience segments across email and digital marketing channels, identifying areas of opportunity for audience growth and engagement

  • Uses data mining skills to process and extract insights

  • Support SuperShuttle and ExecuCar account growth strategy, implementing and managing programs to drive web member growth

  • Implement and manage A/B testing across campaigns, establishing effective and optimal performance guidelines

  • Analyze campaign performance and customer behavior to identify opportunities for improved retention, upselling, and increased revenue

  • Work closely with Technology department to identify strategic CRM tool that will be leveraged to optimize automation across digital marketing channels

  • Provide consistent campaign reporting, identifying trends, errors, and opportunity for improvement, delivering ongoing reporting and presentations to the Marketing department and/or executive committee as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience developing and running email and marketing automation programs

  • Ability to learn and work with various digital analytic reporting platforms such as MixPanel, Branch, and PowerBI

  • Experience developing, managing, executing and measuring automated marketing campaigns

  • Strong understanding of best practices across email marketing and digital marketing channels in a B2C environment

  • Experience with Google Analytics

  • Experience building email templates using HTML a plus

  • Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and direct consumer response techniques, such as segmentation, targeting, and testing

  • Familiar wtih Agile Methodology a plus

  • Organized self-starter with an analytical mind and the ability to evaluate adn tweak approaches based on a comprehensice understanding of business goals

  • Strong written and oral communications skills

  • Advanced proficiency in report generation using Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to handle multiple ongoing projects

  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment
