Transdev Quality Assurance Manager ( Yolobus - Woodland, CA ) in Woodland, California


The Quality Assurance Manager, working under the direction of the General Manager, assures that goods and services meet and exceed contractual requirements from a quality perspective.

The Quality Assurance Manager monitors and evaluates service compliance, performance quality, and policy adherence for the following departments: Operations, Safety & Training, Fleet Maintenance/Facilities, and Human Resources. This position involves access to confidential information and reports to the General Manager.


Essential Job Functions

  • Understands and monitors compliance with operations contracts

  • Oversees the audit process as mandated by company and agency contract and institutes quality audits

  • Monitors and evaluates system data and equipment to determine and assure contractor compliance by creating and utilizing spreadsheets to evaluate data; prepares and writes comprehensive contractor oversight reports

  • Completes reports and other required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner

  • Performs vehicle appearance and functional inspectionsof both the exterior and interior of all vehicles

  • Monitors and reports on-time performance including route schedule adherence, pull-out and pull-in adherence, and driver schedule adherence

  • Assists with oversight of special and community service events

  • Researches issues related to customer satisfaction surveys

  • Resolve escalated customer service complaints

  • Identifies trends in complaint categories and implements action plans for improvement

  • Audits the implementation and performance of safety and training programs

  • Assists in accident/incident investigations and reports and evaluates corrective action

  • Performs employee credential checks

  • Monitors employee skills, appearance, and conduct associated with the contract

  • Works closely with all departments regarding service issues

  • Provides immediate updates to the General Manager

  • Other duties as required


Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or any combination of education and experience.

  • 3 or more years of public transit experience required

  • Knowledge of relevant federal and state employment laws

  • Thorough knowledge of laws, ordinances and regulations underlying the transit operation

  • Thorough knowledge of the methods of operation of the transit system’s staff and operational departments

  • Valid state class C driver’s license required

  • Must be able to obtain a valid Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License with passenger endorsement within 90 days of hire

  • Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Bilingual communication skills are a plus

  • Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs

  • Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers on all levels and be able to work well with diverse groups

  • Ability to organize and perform work efficiently; strong attention to details

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays

  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality of all information

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
