The Utility Worker performs detail cleaning and fueling of equipment with limited supervision and must possess a valid CDL license with air brakes and passenger endorsement.

  1. Washes exterior of vehicles using power washer and brushes

  2. Inspects, cleans and services interior of vehicles and prepares them for daily revenue service, including mopping, sweeping, and trash removal

  3. Fuels buses, replenishes fluids, and logs and records all fluids used

  4. Stocks service information and schedules in revenue vehicles as needed

  5. Responsible for probing revenue fare boxes for all vehicles

  6. Drives, maneuvers, and parks a variety of equipment and vehicles

  7. Responsible for basic facility and housekeeping duties

  8. Remove loose debris and trash using a blower and broom from bus shelters

  9. Remove graffiti, clean and pressure wash bus shelters

  10. Post and remove information as directed

  11. Remove weeds at and adjacent to bus shelters

  12. Performs basic troubleshooting of two way radio units

  13. Performs light maintenance to fueling stations and related facilities

  14. Reports unusual occurrences and maintenance issues (for example, missing decals and damage to vehicles and equipment).

  15. Other duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the vehicles, facility and equipment

  3. Must have a strong commitment to safety

  8. Ability to work on a team

  9. Valid CDL B Permit (Commercial Driver's License Permit) or CDL B License prior to hire. Must have the ability to obtain a CDL B License within 30 days post hire
